"If you are breastfeeding your second (or third, or fourth!) child, one way to keep your first occupied during what can be a trying time for them is to create a "nursing goodie bag." I went to the Dollar Store and spent about $10 on little trinkets, cards, games, a dry-erase board, etc. They all went into a special bag that only comes out during the times I nurse my newborn. My toddler loves it, and can't wait for the next nursing session (Rather than whining about how I should play with her in another room as soon as the baby is hungry!)."
